F1 driver gets a lift
"The Monaco start is different from the other F1 circuits because you can't see the whole length of the straight as the cars begin to race," explains AFP photographer Tom Gandolfini. "For anyone trying to take a picture, that leaves around 200 meters from the moment they appear at around 250km/h to the moment they disappear around the first corner. In general, I try to get the leader sharp with the rest of the drivers jousting for position behind. But today Grosjean and Schumacher touched just as the cars came into view...."
